Locally, if we were to engage any foreign tutors for private tutoring or group tutoring, it would be very expensive due to several factors but, with the technology at our doorstep, we were able to meet the demands. Online tutoring is not something new. Although in Asia, and especially in this part of the world, it's still new, but not a very far fetched thought anymore. We want to bring tutors from first-world countries like the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and bring education & tutoring within reach of the needful.
That's where the idea came from. Besides, my years of experience in the IT industry enabled us to visualize how we could come up with the platform, and that's the WTutors' journey.

FATbit provided end-to-end quality engineering for the online learning marketplace WTutors by developing the following solutions:
- Automatic detection of Daylight Savings Time (DST), i.e. system, handles the DST instead of a teacher or student adjusting it manually
- Time zone specific notifications across the system for various use cases to eliminate the communication barrier between teachers and students from different countries
- Provision for configuring simultaneous slots for sessions by a teacher along with an option of including a break of configurable duration between two consecutive sessions
- Automated masking of phone numbers and emails in the system-level communication(messages) between students and teachers to protect the business interests of the Admin/Owner
- Request based unlocking of the special/discounted prices by the teacher
- Availability management functionality for teacher in which a student can check a teacher's available slots in the calendar and book sessions accordingly
