Karen Kim (Founder of Hello Music World) had a mission to build a connected, harmonious world of music where enthusiasts could share their ideas, learn, teach, and make an impact through music. So, she wanted to create an online music platform for her already-running business "Hello Music," to make the education of music accessible to individuals, schools and communities worldwide.
Key Requirements - Defining the Challenge
As a music enthusiast herself, Karen wanted to provide a platform to creative and curious minds, i.e. she wanted an online global music education platform for them with a resource library, music courses, and events.
Therefore, she wanted to build a platform that featured:

The Solution
Karen's vision was accomplished with Hello Music World, an online music learning platform that caters to the needs of music composers and music lovers. It is built with Yo!Coach, FATbit's online tutoring software and consists of all the features requested by the client. In addition, UX/UI enhancements were done to facilitate seamless end-user interactions.

To facilitate smooth interaction between students and tutors, we have enabled video chat functionality using a pre-integrated third-party API. Further, screen recording, screen sharing, audio/video notes, and more are also available.
CONVENIENT PAYMENT METHODS
To provide a better customer experience, convenient and faster payment options like Stripe and Paypal have been incorporated into the platform. These can result in improved customer satisfaction and loyalty.
1-ON-1/GROUP CLASSES
A music teacher can either conduct group classes or a one-on-one personalized session and share their passion and expertise with students using this feature.
RATINGS AND REVIEWS
Ratings and reviews influence purchasing decisions of students by providing enough information about a course or a tutor.
GIFT CARDS
To show their appreciation, users can send gift cards to their friends and acquaintances. Digital gift cards can also be leveraged for marketing and building customer loyalty.
SMART CALENDAR
Students can book lessons after checking tutors' schedules and availability on the smart calendar. It also includes Google calendar sync.
