To strengthen communication security and prevent spam on the platform. Awos Dargazali, founder of Ostathi, required targeted customizations to the existing messaging system. The primary objective was to control unsolicited instructor connections, prevent the exchange of personal contact information, and encourage learners and instructors to communicate securely within the platform.

To align Yo!Coach with Ostathi's unique business model, our client outlined specific requirements during the planning phase. Yo!Coach team customized the platform's core functionalities, introduced new features, and refined the user experience to support academic and skill-based learning.
The platform was customized to distinguish between Tutors offering academic subjects and Trainers providing skill-based learning. Separate registration options, profiles, listings, and navigation menus help learners find the right instructor.
Separate Find Tutor and Find Trainer options were introduced to simplify instructor discovery. The home page search supports keyword-based searches, while dynamically configured Popular Subject and Popular Skill tags help learners explore relevant offerings.
A structured categorization system was introduced with four levels: Programme, Grade, Qualification, and Subject. Administrators can configure academic curricula and their associated subjects, while tutors can select their teaching subjects during profile creation.
MEPS was integrated to facilitate student payments and instructor payouts. Learners can use supported payment methods, while instructor withdrawal requests are managed manually by the country administrator and payouts are processed automatically through MEPS.
Instructors must provide a Jordanian bank account IBAN or phone number for MEPS verification. Profiles remain unlisted, and lesson bookings remain unavailable, until the payout information is verified.
A dedicated translation page was developed to help users translate words and sentences into their desired languages using the Microsoft Translation API.
A daily limit of five new instructor conversations per learner was implemented. Once reached, further new conversations are blocked with a notification, while existing conversations remain unrestricted.
Messaging restrictions were implemented to prevent tutors, trainers, and learners from sharing phone numbers or email addresses, including variations in text formats, country codes, and number separators.
By leveraging Yo!Coach, Ostathi established a robust foundation for academic tutoring and professional training. Yo!Coach team delivered optimized tutor and trainer listings, advanced search capabilities, and a structured subject categorization system. Beyond that, a custom MEPS integration streamlined payment and payout workflows, while an instructor verification system strengthened operational control.
