  • A teacher's work experience is an important factor for a student. Teachers need to add their experience under the experience tab in the settings.
  • Skills like accents, proficiency level, subjects, etc. also need to be added under the skills tab in the settings option.
  • Adding the languages a teacher speaks and the language proficiency also helps students to select a teacher.

The profile is now ready and teachers can take lessons.

Yes, teachers can add their skills to their profile to make their profile more informative for the students. To add skills:

  • Sign in to the account. Go to "Settings" and click on the "Skills" tab.
  • From there, teachers can add accents, subjects, level of teaching, and save them to reflect on their profile.

While filing the teacher application form, there is a field that requires to fill up the resume details of the teacher along with the relevant certificates. Teachers can use that form to add their resume items into their profile.

Teachers are required to set their availability so that students can schedule their lessons as per the available time set by the teachers. Teachers can set their availability by:

To set lesson rate/hourly rates, teachers need to:

  • Fill it out and then add images and a preview video.
  • Next, fill in the details on the intended learners.
  • Then select the course type (free or paid). If the paid option is selected, set the price.

Yes. Teachers can provide certificates to students using the platform for courses that are purchased. But, they are not available for lessons and classes.

For a new course:

  • Click on "Courses"
  • Then on "Add New Course"
  • After adding the general details along with the preview video, fill in the details on the intended learners.
  • In the next step, select the course type (free or paid). If the option of paid is selected then set its price.
  • Then manage the curriculum and add the videos.
  • Lastly, mention if the course offers a certificate.
  • Complete the source setup by saving it.

Note : The course will be submitted to the admin for review. Only after the admin's approval will the course be listed on the platform

For an existing course:

  • Click on "Courses"
  • Click on the Edit icon (only available if the course is not published - is in draft status)
  • Click on Price
  • Select the course type (free or paid). If the option of paid is selected then set its price.
  • Follow the other steps and Click on Save.

No, it is completely the choice of the teacher, whether to offer a free trial session or not. If the teacher does not want to offer free trial sessions, then they can change that. To enable/disable free trial lessons:

  • Sign in to the account. Go to "Account Settings" and click on "Personal Info' tab.
  • Check/Uncheck the "Enable Free Trial" option.
  • Click "Save Changes" to save your selected option.

Teachers can include the YouTube link of their introduction video to make their tutor profile more attractive. They can also include relevant information about themselves like biography, skills, experience, and languages.

Yes, teachers can always edit their calendar if they are not available and cannot deliver lessons for a few days. To change the availability:

  • Sign in to the account. Go to "Settings" and click on the "Availability" tab.
